a slow boat to China
Like many first time bloggers I am not sure how to begin. I have always been more interested in what other people have to say, than in expressing my own views and opinions. Therefore any philosophical, social or political theories or view points that may emerge every now and then are purely accidental, but don't get me wrong, not without substance and understanding. I wonder if anyone will ever read what I am writing?

Your middle name is Dudley? I think they outlawed naming people that in the early seventies. You should blog more, it's fun.

ReplyDeleteI am not sure how to respond directly to Snowbeone regarding the comment about my middle name, so I guess I will post it here. First of all Toby, the name Dudley didn't begin to disappear from the landscape until the 80's. Coincidentally that is the same decade that the legendary Lee Iacocca assumed the role of CEO and Chairman of the Board Of Chrysler Corporation. With the company teetering on the brink of collapse, he, almost single handidly, brought the company back into prosperity. It was really kind of an amazing turn around. Anyway Lee Iacocca was truly one of the great business minds of his generation and of the entire 20th century. But the point I am trying to make is that if it wasn't for Lee Iacocca the word DODGE would probably not even exist in the American language, well except in your middle name.
